I have installed MB 6.1,8.0 and MQ 7 in my system, while migrating from 6.1 to 8.0 , I am getting an error stating
ERROR: BIP8040E: Unable to connect to the database.
BIP2393E: Database error: ODBC return code '-1' from data source ''DEFBKD61'' us
ing ODBC driver manager ''odbc32.dll''.
Can any one help me out . |

Try this:
Migrate your source code to V8.0.0.2 toolkit.
Rebuild your bars using new toolkit.
Deploy new bars to V8.
If successful, discard your attempt to migrate the V6 runtime.
If not successful, open a PMR.
