Hello there,

I'm actually testing MQ MFT to replace DataFlow Studio (ex MQSoftware) and especially Datalink Command which was really great to split a file into "n" messages.

I defined everything with MQ MFT and sending File from agent to agent is damn pretty good. But I'm loosing a lot of time to understand precisly how it works to spil a file into a queue with the result of 1 line = 1 message.

To be more precisly I try to transfer with -t text option to obtain a full convert from ASCII AIX to ASCII windows (Special Caracters ...)

Any clue ?

I would expect it to transfer a specific number of characters. Not a single line per message. That would be quite inefficient. Don't know if the number of characters is configurable...you'd have to look that up in the documentation...

There should be documentation on setting up a File To Queue pattern in MFT docs.

Presumably the line ending is the record terminator, and you're trying to turn one record into one message on a queue, which is perfectly reasonable.
