Hello All ,

Can someone tell me if there is any difference between CD input node and file input node in terms of functionality ?

Also need inputs on the behaviour of File i/p node and CD i/p node in the below scenario

Scenario : Need to simulate a setup where there are n number of files on a server . I have a message flow deployed on leg 1 and leg 2 .

I need the message flow with the CD input node /File input node to consume n/2 files on leg1 and n/2 on leg 2 so that laod balancing is achieved .

Can I achieve this using CD input or File input node by simply deploying 2 flows on two legs or more configuration is needed ?

Quick help is appreciated . Thanks in advance !!!

Use of CD:Input requires Sterling CD product. Do you also have the Sterling product installed?

Have you attended the required training for WMB (9 days)?

If you had attended the training, or read the appropriate InfoCentre articles, you would have learned that setting the 'additional flow instances' to 1 would permit two instances of the same flow to run and consume n/2 files as you have described.

What led you to consider the use of CD:Input node over the FileInput node?

Sterling? - you are living in the past.... IBM bought the company. I suppose it's still called IBM Sterling at least for now.
