Hello,
I am trying to use Generic Queue Managername "*GenericQueueManagerName" to use CCDT tab file. I am getting the following error.
jms:/queue?destination=destQueueName&connectionFactory=connectQueueManager(*genericQueueManagerName)&initialContextFactory=com.ibm.mq.jms.Nojndi&replyDestination=replyQueueName
System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: WCFCH0309E: An error occurred while attempting to open the channel for endpoint 'jms:/queue?destination=destQueueName&connectionFactory=connectQueueManager(*genericQueueManagerName)&initialContextFactory=com.ibm.mq.jms.Nojndi&replyDestination=replyQueueName' The operation could not be completed. The endpoint may be down, unavailable, or unreachable, review the linked exception for further details. ---> System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: WCFCH0324E: A server then client mode connection attempt to queue manager '*genericQueueManagerName' failed for endpoint 'jms:/queue?destination=destQueueName&connectionFactory=connectQueueManager(*genericQueueManagerName)&initialContextFactory=com.ibm.mq.jms.Nojndi&replyDestination=replyQueueName'. The auto binding mode was specified in the endpoint URI but both connection attempts failed. Check the queue manager is started and available at the address and the connection details specified in the endpoint URI or Client Channel Definition Table are correct. See the linked except
ion for further details. Specify a server binding mode to see server mode errors. ---> IBM.XMS.XMSException: CWSMQ0006E: An exception was received during the call to the method ConnectionFactory.CreateConnection: IBM.WMQ.Nmqi.NmqiException: Exception of type 'IBM.WMQ.Nmqi.NmqiException' was thrown.\r\n at IBM.WMQ.Nmqi.ManagedNmqiMQ.NmqiConnect(String name, NmqiConnectOptions pNmqiConnectOpts, MQConnectOptions cno, Hconn parentHconn, Phconn pHconn, Int32& compCode, Int32& reason)\r\n at IBM.XMS.Client.WMQ.WmqConnection..ctor(NmqiEnvironment nmqiEnv, NmqiMQ nmqiMQ, XmsPropertyContext connectProps)\r\n at IBM.XMS.Client.WMQ.WmqConnectionFactory.CreateV7ProviderConnection(XmsPropertyContext connectionProps). |

Can you also supply the details of the CLNTCONN channels that are in your CCDT please? _________________ Morag Hughson @MoragHughson

I don't think your connection factory has the correct setup for a CCDT. Did not see where in the URI you referenced the CCDT either... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You have to install MQ Client 7.0.1.10 to support generic Queue Manager name.
IBM says MQ Client 7.0.1.9 works but for me it did not worked.
for WCF you have to configure mqclient.ini file ( Tabfile path)
Problem solved. |
