What sessions do you want at MQTC v2.0.1.3?
Current list of sessions:

Introduction to MQ Programming / Application Design
Introduction to MQ Administration
Dude, where's my message?
How to do MQ Triggering
Certificate Management
Base QMgr Hardening
B2B
MQ High Availability
MQTT Programming
IMS Adapter and Bridge Overview
MQ Security with CA ACF2
Vendor Sessions:File transfer with Universal File Mover
MQ Security with MQAUSX & z/MQAUSX
Message editing with ISPFMQ for z/OS
I'm waiting to hear back from someone who may do the following sessions: Multi-Instance QMgrs, Pub/Sub & best practices.
The conference is 5 1/2 months away, so speak up. What session topics do you want at MQTC v2.0.1.3?
After I get a bigger list of sessions, I'll do a poll to get a feel which are the popular sessions.
Therefore, for those people interested in going to MQTC, speak up.
Regards,
Roger Lacroix

I'm sure it will be open. If it closes we might have to nip down Wal-Mart and buy booze there instead. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It's an Americanism you might not have learned yet? "open bar" means "drinks are comped".

Isn't this how one of those Hangover movies started? |

Ok, now back to it.
Capitalware would like to announce that Cressida Technology is a Gold Sponsor of MQ Technical Conference v2.0.1.3 (MQTC).
Cressida Technology will also host a session for an MQSeries.net Get Together at MQTC. So, I'll assume members of mqseries.net will be interested in this!!
Another new session at MQTC is: M. Ariel Evans and Michael Dag will present a Security4SOA session.
Finally, I have updated the schedule page to include both the session title and the presenter's name.
So, what sessions (other than those listed) are people interested in? What have I missed?
Regards,
Roger Lacroix

A session devoted to Pub Sub
A session focused on Disaster Recovery patterns / solutions / techniques for WMQ.
I assume Cressida will have a show and tell session featuring their product. _________________ Peter Potkay

I have a MQ Pub/Sub session listed on the schedule page and a potential speaker (I hope he gets permission to go to MQTC).

Good idea.

No. They opted for the mqseries.net session. You can send an email to them to see if they want to do one.

In keeping with the Security focused angle, how about a session for MQIPT - when to use it, how to use it, when is it not appropriate / overkill, etc _________________ Peter Potkay

We could have done ' our products do this and that ' , but instead went for doing a couple of MQSeries.net themed sessions - got some fun ideas on how to turn these into more exciting sessions. stay tuned for further details.

On this one, we'll give it some more thought .... do have more than our own tools stories - customer cases here that just might be worth a real world example session. No promises though just yet as we need to get the customer ok.
Thanks. |
