Trying to test MQ Cluster work load balancing.
I have windows 7 & MQ 7.5. I have 3 QMs (ProxyQM, QM1, QM2), all in one cluster. The cluster queue Q1 resides on QM1 & QM2.
I have Rfhutil connecting to ProxyQM and putting messages on Q1. I am observing that the messages only go to one of the Queue managers. If I start another instance of Rfhutil, and I put messages, messages then arrives in second QM.
Thus, it appears like there is an affinity to specific queue manager from one RFHutil instance. I am sure I am missing something and my MQ concepts are tested.
If I use the MQAOD support pack, I can see the msgs getting load balanced. |

Like RFHUtil is using the default bind option not the bind option which calls for load balancing perhaps? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks McueMart!
Found the radio button on RFHutil. LB works as designed! |
