Good morning chums.
Has anyone got any experience of using WMQ 7.5 with the fraud tool Falcon. Have you had any issues with WMQ 7.5 and they way Falcon uses MQ?
Anything shared would be braw
Thanks

... This is kind of like that question about using a virus checker against MQ.
What are you trying to protect, here? |

Well, we're even then. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by executing a fraud checker against MQ.
What kinds of fraud are you expecting to receive over MQ? What kinds of fraud are you expecting MQ to perpetrate on the behalf of other people?
I simply do not understand the purpose you are trying to achieve, by combining these two pieces of software, because I do not understand any reason why these two pieces of software would need, in any way, to be combined? |

Payment info arrives from Wincor, is processed by an app which puts messages on a queues which Falcon reads, establishes if the transaction is potentially fraudulent and responds.
Question relates to anyone with experience with the Falcon softwares use in conjunction with WMQ 7.5. Vendor of Falcon only 'certify' their product against 7.0.1.3 you see. I am looking for advice on anyone who has experience.
Hope that helps

That makes sense now.
I hope someone has done this, and can help. I've not. |

The problem I can foresee here is that while Falcon may work quite happily with WMQ V7.5 (like Jeff I have no experience with it either), what happens if a fraudulent transaction is missed - one that in 'normal', i.e. WMQ V7.0.1.3 infrastructure, circumstances would be picked up - and the vendor of Falcon states "...well mate, we did tell you that it was only certified against..."? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
