To all,

I'm using amqmdnet.dll(tried v6 and v8.0) and the .Net MQ Classes to connect to MQ and execute a Broker Flow.

On MQ 6 and Broker 6 I get 1 to 2 second response times. This uses SSL.

On MQ 7.5 and Broker 8 I get 5 to 6 second response times. This does not use SSL.

What should I look for that would account for this difference in performance?

I know there are new ways to use WCF to connect to MQ via the .Net Classes.

Where can I find the samples that are referenced? I don't see them in the MQ 7.5 Client /bin directory or the samp directory?

First thing in any performance test is to identify where the bulk of the work is taking place.

It's easy to say that it takes longer round trip, but it doesn't tell you why.

easist thing to do is enable user trace on the broker flow and use that to compare the time it takes for the message to be presented to the flow and for the flow to send the response.
