Hi All

First post here so be kind

We are using MQ via the .NET api. We had envisaged using MQ without installing the client on all of our CI agents that build and run unit tests and purely reference the necessary assemblies. Is this possible or will I need to install the Assemblies to the GAC on each agent and install the client on the agent? We have 90+ agents so ideally just a bunch of referenced assemblies would be ideal otherwise I will have to invest some time in automating a deploy of MQ out to the agents.

Cheers
Alex

Nobody knows what CI means to you.

It's probably not important.

The "managed" .NET client will allow you to package your app into a standalone unit that does not require the co-installation of the MQ client.

You should review the .NET docs on managed clients for information on what features it does and doesn't provide in this case.
