Which MQ objects with what authority are needed so a NON-ADMINISTRATIVE user can view all MQ objects in MQ Explorer but make no changes except for allowing certain application queues to have end-user get/put authority?

The V7.0.1 Infocenter on Topic page fa12080_.htm gives a list of
queues/authorities for MQ administrators but I can't find such a list
for MQ non-administrators.

This is for MQ V7.0.1.8 for Windows. I assume OAM authority settings are the same for MQ V7.5 from a MQ Explorer point of view.

Go to google. Search for 'wmq explorer+read only'. There's a Hursley document entitled Using WebSphere MQ Explorer as a read-only viewer

Its also covered in the new WMQ Security Redbook, available at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg248069.html

See Chapter 9. If you are not using SSL, ignore all the SSL bits. This chapter encapsulates the information in the Infocenter and the Hursley article.
