Want to determine if a website is SSL secure or not before you visit? Want to test your own Internet-facing server? I heard about this on Security Now podcast.

Visit https://www.ssllabs.com/.

At the bottom-left of the page is a textbox Test Your SSL Server Now!

Enter the URL of your online banking website. Click Submit.

For websites that earn less than an A grade, you should notify them... and probably avoid them.
