I just checked InfoCenter and it stated that the "fteCreateMonitor" command is not supported in protocol bridge agents.
I have checked the release notes in the hopes that it was an error - but no, no ability to create a monitor for protocol bridge agents.
Is someone close to development for MQFTE in this forum that can comment? Not sure how to sell the value if they need to install different monitoring software for these files for protocol bridge. |

U can use scheduled file transfer by creating the transfer template that polls the SFTP server directory for files and pull the files back to your FTE agent file system . Please note the Protocol bridge does not read or write the local file system so you must have another MQFTE agent onthe same box as the Protocols bridge agent for this to work.''RG |

Could you explain how this can be implemented? |

To set up a scheduled job, create a transfer template and on the 3rd screen you can mark the check box to schedule the transfer, set it up at the intervals you want to poll, then finish all of the other settings. Once complete, you submit the transfer and you will see it show up in 'Pending Transfer'.
As for the transfer, you can use a wildcard '*' if necessary. |
