I am new to MQseries and i need to write a sample Java program to get and put messages to/from CLuster Queue. Does anyone have a sample java program or any resources where i can get information about this.

You can find sample programs (including java ) in the software repository. Put your cursor on the repository and a menu will show to choose from a list of languages.

Is there any difference between getting/putting messages from a cluster queue and non-cluster queue. In case of non-cluster queue. Should i specify the "QMGR1" name defined on my local system("QMGR1" is part of cluster "CLS1") or the "QMGR2" defined on a another system("QMGR2" is also part of Cluster CLS1). I intend to get and put messages on a queue defined in the QMGR2 defined on an another system.

On QMGR1 you can PUT to the clustered Queue defined on QMGR2. But you can only get from QMGR2. You CANNOT GET the message on ClusQ at QMGR1.

If you are working with samples then it shouldn't make any difference if it is clustered or non clustered queue to put/get messages.
