Nice time yesterday at The Westin in Jersey City. It was great to meet the Hursley folks and put faces to names.
Looking forward to attending the next one. _________________ Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man. - The Dude |

Was this a private event? I don't remember seeing an announcement for it. _________________ Peter Potkay

Wasn't private. Our IBM Sales people told us about it.

Always fun to do these - especially with the larger audiences.
I did see some people taking photos (t-rob, matt) so maybe they'll get posted somewhere.
Now flying on to the next gig ... I've put a list of the currently scheduled events for 1Q at http://marktaylorhursley.wordpress.com/2013/02/18/mq-on-tour/ and I'm sure there will be another batch put together for later in the year. Probably the closest to Peter that's booked right now is Minneapolis.
These events do get listed on the IBM web pages somewhere, but I'm never able to find them easily. They are also sent out to some mailing lists - this one was sent to people who usually attend the NY/NJ User Group. |

Nice to finally meet you, Mark. I enjoyed your presentations.
I wonder if you would you clarify your remarks regarding Paul's SupportPacs and possible updates or inclusion into future versions of MQ? I know a lot of us here have come to rely on these. _________________ Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man. - The Dude |

Here's the only photo I took: pic.twitter.com/nSZnMFRh
Shows that a huge number of people were there... it was a good event! |

The IBM Technical Conference is held each year in Europe (always mainland) and recently it seems mostly in Germany (Berlin last year).
Plenty of Hursley speakers there, apparently. However you might also want to come to the UK user group meeting at Hursley in the summer. I am sure you would be welcome (fly into Southampton?). |
