Hi,
I´m currently facing a customer situation where we need to compare the WMB against some settled open source solutions. As one of the security hardlines costumer requests the use of SAML token for authentication against the SAP product lifecycle management solution.
In detail the upcoming middleware should be able to generate self issued SAML 1 token with sendervouches, as no external STS will be in place.
Does anyone have any experiences on that?
Found some general hints on DW regarding that issues on WAS but nothing for WMB?
Thanks in advance. . . _________________ There are two kinds of people in this world: people who s***, and Chuck Norris...
WMB can create SAML tokens, as specified in the InfoCentre. Open source Enterprise Service Bus solutions provide very limited native transformation capability, if any at all.
What product is settled already at the customer site?
I'm surprised you were unable to find information about how WMB uses SAML tokens. Using Google, I quickly found two dozen pages on the IBM site. Do you use Google? _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
