We are trying to configure broker 8 to communicate with PostgreSQL database using unix ODBC driver manager,please provide some guidance if anyone successfully did this configuration.

1.ODBC Driver for PostgreSQL
2.Sample odbc.ini for PostgreSQL

PostgreSQL 9.1.2 is supported, but you must open a PMR to get the details.

To open a PMR, you must have a service contract and have an IBM WMB trained resource at your site.

You can only establish ODBC connections to supported databases using ODBC drivers that are supplied with the Broker product.

Thanks for the responses.As per IBM,postgreSQL is not officially supported database for Broker.

Elevate a product support request through your sales rep. There are workarounds to be able to retrieve or store data. One of them could be a JMS message to a WAS service that does the database operation.
