Hi,
I am trying file transfer between two windows servers connected over network in the same domain. I have successfully connected with remote agent through Explorer but when try to browse the destination directory in remote system I find it is not enabled. I do not see any specific error in agent logs. Need help!
This seems to be permissions issues of the ID running the remote system not having access to the directory/file you are trying to get to. You can look at the DCOM settings or the ID running the MQ service to see what ID is running your MQFTE process.
I'd also suggest running a trace on the external agent to gather a bit more information.
Great, the trace has been pretty helpful for me in the past when I'm not getting enough information in the logs.
I still think it is probably a permissions issue. If you are able to successfully run the transfer from command line, I would compare the user you are logged in as, to what is shown in DCOM and the MQ service. You can also look in task manager to see what user running the various mq processes.
