I am using WMQ 7.5. I tried to delete a range of queues with the following command

1 : delete ql(AA*)
AMQ8147: WebSphere MQ object AA* not found.

How can I do this, or is it possible

As a safety feature, the command accepts only a fully qualifed queue name and not a wildcard.

It's a fairly straightforward task to script the result of a DISPLAY QLOCAL(AA*) as a series of DELETE commands
