Hi everyone
I'm doing a small survey for users of the WebSphere MQ Internet Pass-Thru SupportPac MS81, commonly known as MQIPT.
In the interests of market research, I'd like to know:
- Do you use the MQIPT servlet MQIPTServlet.war?
- If you use it, which application server (and application server version) do you run it in?
I've added a small poll below. If you do use the servlet, please also post which application server you use below.

I would say your poll is relatively incomplete.
You might need 2 different polls. One to inquire if the support pack is being used (yes we do use it), one to determine whether the servlet is being used. (no we don't)...
Well I hope this answer is not too confusing...
poll like:
use mqipt
use mqipt with servlet
do not use mqipt....

Yes, in hindsight perhaps it would have been better to do it that way. Anyone not using MQIPT need not respond to the poll.
As it happens I already have some fairly good statistics about how many people use MQIPT at all, what I lack is information on which features people are using. The servlet is my particular area of interest, as it has some unique characteristics that are not true of MQIPT in general; the poll was intended to help estimate the percentage of the MQIPT user base who use the servlet. |
