Hi I have a scenario :
WMB6.0 application is communicating with a webservice which will communicate to IMS TM adapter and that further communicates with mainframe.
WMB6.0 <-> WebService <-> IMS TM Adpater <-> Mainframe
Now WMB is migrating to 6.1 version and WMB will directly communicate with IMS TM adapter.
WMB6.1 <-> IMS TM Adpater <-> Mainframe
Can anybody know how to configure from WMB end what steps I have to follow to achieve this? Any urls or documents are there for this? Please share with me. Thank you in advance. |

Hi Lancelotlinc,
Thank you for your quick reply. Here our client decided to use WMB6.1 for some days and I am not a decision maker to use WMB7.0. With in WMB6.1 is there any option to achieve this task ? I know there is a way but I dont know what is that and how to proceed. Below is the link which informs us that 6.1.0.3 will support this .

But you should be confirming with the decision maker that they a) know WMBv6.1 is soon out of support & b) whatever you develop now will need to be reworked for WMBv7. It makes poor commercial sense to do this, but given your client has apparently been running WMBv6.0 we can assume poor commercial sense and / or a casual attitude to risk.

What have you tried? What happened? What does the WMBv6.1 documentation say?

| We have many applications running on shared broker(6.1 migrated) and 7.0 upgradation is in planning stage. It will take some time for that. Meanwhile I got this requirement,but i am not sure it is going to implement or not.Just i want to know how to configure this adapter in WMB 6.1 . Can you please let me know how to configure this for WMB6.1 ? |
