Hi all
I have a flow which eventually sends an email out to a client. They however want this to be encrypted with PGP. Is there PGP plugin for WMQI that could encrypt a message before it enters the sendmail plugin ?
Is it even possible to do in Integrator ?
Regards

The bad news is no. The really bad news is there is only one vendor that allows you to automate a PGP process, www.nai.com. It requires their product, E-Business Server w/PGP. They have the exclusive rights to command-line automation of PGP. You can't do PGP within MQ.
I would recommend a better solution than trying to doing email, the MQ Client using Version 5.3 (SSL). The data is encrypted during the transmission to the customer. The MQ client is free, it is very easy to customize the amqsget0.c code to a larger buffer (don't forget to malloc the buffer if larger than 1mb). This requires a connection to a version 5.3 MQ server.
There is a PGP client gui, but cannot be automated.
Hope this helps, TJ |

Thanks for the response back.
Unfortunately the client refuses to go the MQ route, and insists on using email. We have since told them that it is impossible to do, so it isn't really too much of an issue any more. However I will keep in mind the SSL route as we will probably use it in another clients situation.
