Hi,

I am able to create a subscription using GUI.
But when I am trying to create a subscription using commands, I am able to create a subscription but unable to put a message.

I am creating a subscription using the below command
run mqsc QM
DEFINE SUB (SUB_BRANCH3) DEST(SUB.BRANCH3) TOPICOBJ (SAMPLE) SELECTOR ('BRANCH="ECE"')

I'm not a MB expert, but I though selectors on the message body looked soemhting lke-

Root.Body.something = somethingelse

The selector you show as an example looks like a message property selector.

Hi ,
I got it by using the command.
I need to use escaping characters for creating a subscription.
All three single quotes.

run mqsc QM
DEFINE SUB (SUB_BRANCH3) DEST(SUB.BRANCH3) TOPICOBJ (SAMPLE) SELECTOR ('BRANCH=''ECE''')
