Hi ,

amqfqpub process for a queue manager is consuming high cpu >95% on Linux enviroment - MQv7.0.1.3.
We have not seen this problem earlier for the queue manager and just noticed this yesterday. There has been no new implementation or new deployment on this queue manager.

Any pointers to resolve the issue will be appreciated.

We have killed the process multiple times and also tried restarting the queue manager. Now we have disabled PSMODE and the process is not coming up now. But still trying to find out the root cause for the issue.

The root cause is likely a pub/sub application running out of control and publishing lots of messages.
