Hello experts,

I have a requirement in which I have to sign messages using a certificate provided and pass the signed SOAP messages to the recieving system(web service in my case).

My Flow -Accepting messages from a REST API - Mapping and conversion of incoming message JSON to SOAP message - Signing the generated outout message at EAI - Send the signed message to a Web service.

The scenario is such that when I sign the messages using the certificates provided certain security headers should get added in the actual SOAP message.
Can someone help me which approach/implementation mechanism would help me here ?

I am using HTTP nodes to send this messages towards recieving system and not using any kind of WSDL.

Can someone please help me with the solution approach , how this can be accomplished in WMB 7 ?

Why not SOAP nodes with WSDL?

You are aware the MB V7 went out of service last year....

There are a number of threads in this forum about this topic. Have you reviewed them yet?
Have you tried anything for yourself? We really like people to try things rather than being spoonfed the whole solution. You will learn a lot more that way.

Hello,

Thanks a lot for your replies. I appreciate your suggestions and efforts to help me in this issue.

Yes..I am doing some investigation from my end.

I think Implementing Web Service security could help me to figure out a solution. (message signing)

I am trying this solution and doing the neccessary changes of replacing HTTP node with SOAP node, so that I can use WSDL to place the security header content at appropriate place.
