Hi all, i got a requirement of writing a script for a project.
I need to build a script(KSH or PL or any) that messages from a particular queue are converted in to flat file and put in to another destination queue. It's urgent. I would really appreciate if any one can show me an example script.
Also let me know if i am not enough clear.... |

Why reinvent the wheel? Just use one of the SupportPacs to do it. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

If using ksh, you can rely on the MQ sample programs to read and write your queue. Use pipe redirection on both input and output to achieve.
You can do it. Its easy. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

Use support pac MA01 (the q command), this won't have the message size restrictions of the sample programs.
The q command is very easy to use and has various options. |
