Hi,
I have a cluster say CL2 between QM1 and QM3 where QM1 is the gateway.
I tried to bring them into cluster by establishing channels between them, the channels where running but when I ran default tests in the explorer they failed saying the channels are not able to communicate and cluster is not CL2 is not established.
I deleted those channels but still one of the channels is remaining in the QM1 and when I try to delete it says "channel not found." .
Now, I tried to create cluster channels with different names but in vain, the channels are in binding state at the gateway queue manager QM1.
When checked in logs, the error says "Internal MQ error occured" and it is unable to put the msgs to '' queue. Its unable to even resolve the queue name.
I cannot flush any messages from system.cluster* queues on gateway QM1 as the gateway is used for another project.
Could anyone help in resolving this issue.
Thanks |

Search google for the WebSphere MQ Queue Manager Clusters manual (or the equivalent InfoCenter doc).
There is a chapter describing in detail how to set up (create) a cluster.
This http://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27009247&aid=1 is a good introduction to WMQ clusters. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Hi,
I have done based on teh document. THanks.
I have another issue. I had defined CLUSSDR from full repos to partial repos but after reading the document I deleted it.
I have created only the sender from partial repos to full repos and a clusrcvr at full repos to itself.
When i do clusqmgr(*) all in QM1 i.e G/w, I get two instances of qmgr QM3 with the channel to.QM3 clussdr which i have not created. One of the insstances is running and the other not running.
Could anyone tell me how could i remove the instance which is not running.
thanks |
