Hi,
I currently use MQSeries in my project but basically it is just using a standard set of classes to get, put and commit. I figured taking the certification exam will require me to read a lot and will help gain better knowledge.
Can someone help with the following for exam 097:
1. Any books which are helpful for this exam? How about this book Messaging and Queuing Using the MQI: Concepts & Analysis, Design & Development available at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0070057303/qid%3D1036620727/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/102-0654989-3384910
2. Which sections of which redbooks are relevant for this exam?
3. How many weeks of effort is required for this certification?
Thanks |

If you do a search for "095", "097" or Certification on this site (Click the Search link above), you will find tons of stuff on this site already talking about this subject. _________________ Peter Potkay

Peter,
I did find some topics related using the search but none of the threads had a clear answer to what study material is best suited for this cert. Most responses just refer to IBM site and that has a LOT of redbooks. If someone who has gone though the process can share a personal experience it will be really helpful.

Just read the System Admin Manual, the Inter Comm manuels, etc. I don't think there's any books out there better than the actual manual. Try taking exam 095 first. [/quote] |
