Hi,

We are accepting cobol copy book format message as input and parsing to it get individual values.

But in the input whenever there is "" or accented E(diactric) , system is taking as two characters and hence the length of message is changing and as a result the message is getting disturbed. Please let me know if there are any known issues w.r.t cobol copy book format handling accent marks and ""

Confifuration detail:
COMP1 and COMP2 in Big endian format.
character set ASCII
input bytes
Regards

Post the hex of "" input. and the result of the output in hex.

What is the code page of the application program? What is the code page of the input data? What is the code page of the qmgr?
