We want to know if there is any reference to hardening a solution with Message Broker, exist WAS (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/techjournal/0512_botzum/0512_botzum1.html ) and WMQ documentation (Impact 2011 T.Tob document ), but we not found the WMBroker doc. I know if you apply the hardening of WMQ a large percentage applies to Broker, but we are interested in more details for Broker.
It's difficult to write a comprehensive document on hardening Broker, because you end up having to write about how to harden every single protocol that Broker can possibly interact with, and then talk about hardening the message flows that make use of that data.
It's only useful to harden the Broker's queue manager if most of the data that comes in and out is transported by MQ. It doesn't do much good if you only do SOAP over HTTP. Likewise, if you don't do SOAP over HTTP, there's little value in hardening the HTTP connectors - merely turn them off....
In any hardening exercise - ask what you are protecting against and from where.
