Hi,
From manual, the MQSC command "RESET QSTATS" only works on OS/390 (z/os) environment. By using the command, some useful q statistic can be displayed such as MSGSIN, MSGSOUT and HIQDEPTH.
In the MQSC Command Reference, it's clear that the command doesn't work on NT or w2k. I tried and it does not. My question is that some monitoring utilities do bring back those values on NT&W2K, how do they achieve this? I checked all the relevant manual and still have no clue how this cold be possible achievable on NT&W2K or even unix?
Does anybody have any idea about this?
Thanks a lot
Regards

This is done by using PCF - see amqsailq.c sample program and try to modify it and execute MQCMD_RESET_Q_STATS, then inquire QM about attributes such as MQIA_TIME_SINCE_RESET, etc.
