Hi everyone
I would very much appreciate some advice here. The ma01 support pac (or q utility) works fine for me on my windows system, but not the HP-UX environment (11.23) that I am on.
I can get messages fine
q -m QM1 -i MyQueue
But am unable to place messages onto a queue on HP-UX only (works on Windows)
q -m QM1 -o MyQueue -F test.xml
I am using the HP-UX version of the q program that was supplied with the support pac in the HP Itanium folder.
I do not get any error messages at all. Just a confirmation that everything is fine:
"Connecting ... connected to 'QM1'"
If I change the queue manger name i get an error, if i change the queue name i get an error, if the xml file is not available i get an error...
So I am quite stuck at this point. The Queue is put enabled, I have the right authority as well,
Any help would be most appreicated. I am worried that the q program is not compatible with the version of HP-UX i have.
