In WMB v7, we saw a situation where in the incoming SOAP requests were not being responded to by the WMB flow. The EG listener port was up but the requests didnt make it to the Message flows. Later we found that all the SOAP Requests were stuck on the HTTPConnector. We did a mqsireportproperties and saw the following.

DefaultConnector
port='52342'
URLRegistration='/vc/Payables/'
nodeLabel='SOAP Input'
outstandingRequests='29'

This indicates there were 29 requests stcuk without being delivered to the Message flow. Does anybody know where these messages are held internally in WMB.

The SOAP listener runs inside the EG process.

There are some configuration items on the HTTPConnector and HTTPSConnector for enabling a larger set of threads, but you also need to ensure that you have enough instances of your message flow to process those threads.

It might simply be that all of those connections were stuck waiting for a REPLY from your flow, too.
