To all:
Today I attempted to perform an FTE upgrade from version 7.0.2.1 to 7.0.4.1 on both our FTE Server and 1 FTE Client. The server upgrade went smoothly, no complaints. Our FTE client upgrade failed, however. The installation seemed to go smoothly, but the agent simply would not start. I performed this upgrade in our development environment prior to the upgrade without any problems. There are some differences, of course, since the test machine simulated one of our stores, whereas the ugprade I performed today was an FTP server here at corporate.
Below is the excerpt from the output0.log file. No entries were created in the stderr.log or stdout.log, and no FFDC files were created, either. I'll call IBM and open a PMR for this, but thought I'd also run it by on this forum, too.
