Hi ,
In my project we are using WMB8 and MQ7 , I am trying to export the content of the broker . While googling i come to know that we can take back of the entire content and we can restore later ,I have done this and working perfectly fine for me . But i am trying to see is there any option to export specific flow or Application or a messagset and so that i can deploy in some other environment (Instead of exporting whole broker content ) .
In the broker backup the broker name must be same , But i need to export one perticular flow or some resource and deploy/restore in some other broker . Please let me know (in my project sometimes we need to deploy some flow but we will not be having bar file for that and that particular flow was developed long back , for these cases i feel like there should be some way to export from some region and import to this region it would be great ).
Thanks in advance _________________ -----------

No, you can not export deployed resources.
You should have all of your deployed resources saved twice in your source control system.
Once as source code, and once as deployable artifacts, that are tagged with the date they were deployed. This way if you need to deploy back to a known state, you can do so. |

What would be great would be your project having some controls. Even if you could "export" the flow, how would you fix it? Or develop it? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Vitor ,
I mean if there are any flows missing then i though i can deploy by exporting .
so there is no way to export one flow or resource . pls confirm . _________________ -----------

There is no way to export any deployed resources.
You can back up the deployed configuration, but you can't export deployed resources. |

I confirm there is no way to export one flow or resource.
If you've failed to have proper source code control and deploy procedures then you're in a trap of your own making. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
