Just noticed that when creating a new adapter connection project in the Toolkit using 8.0.0.1, it asks for the sapidoc3.jar. The GA release didn't ask for this. It looks like FP1 requires at least 3.0.8 of the JCO libraries (the version that includes this file). I can't see this change in any of Broker docs (either in the infocenter or requirements pages)?
Does anyone know if this new version is required on the runtime too, or is it purely for the connector projects?

Ignore me. The 3.0.8 version of the SAP JCO doesn't include the new sapidoc3.jar. The new jar is entirely separate download from the JCO library.
I should imagine that will cause quite a bit if grief for a number of people. The SAP website where this stuff is kept hidden is notoriously hard to navigate and SAP admins don't like giving out the user/password to the site to us mere plebians. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

You'll still need someone with SAP access to download it though
since when is SAP part of Oracle? I know that SAP has had to pay Oracle a whole shed load of money for all thos pirate copies of Oracle that they were found to be using but I didn't realize thet they'd been bought by them as well.
Perhaps the wording could have been a little better.
