Can you please give me some tips on how to connect to remote informix database using wmb v7 on AIX platform.

Well, you could use the TCPIP nodes and implement your own database client in a Broker message flow.

Or you could review the documentation on configuring access to databases, and follow the given instructions.

Got it working using Informix Client and Message Broker ODBC connectivity.
