Hi All,
Is there anybody uses virtual ip for mutli-instance QM client connection instead of handling in code with MQ reconnect option?. Is it advisable? _________________ Bravo |

MQ isn't going to notice that it's a virtual IP or a real IP.
Yes, it works, but.
What are you trying to accomplish? |

Some application does not want to code reconnect option which requires MQ for JMS classes, does not want host names hard code which may change in future and also for maintenance. _________________ Bravo |

So use a CCDT referenced from an mqclient.ini file... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
