Hi All,
Is there anybody uses virtual ip for mutli-instance QM client connection instead of handling in code with MQ reconnect option?. Is it advisable?

MQ isn't going to notice that it's a virtual IP or a real IP.
Yes, it works, but.
What are you trying to accomplish? |

Some application does not want to code reconnect option which requires MQ for JMS classes, does not want host names hard code which may change in future and also for maintenance.

So use a CCDT referenced from an mqclient.ini file...
