Hi,
I would like to put the output from the ftecreatetransfer command into a log file and not output to sysout or the console which is the default.
I need to save the FTE id into a file. is there a flag/paramater that can direct the ouput of the command?

What platform? What o/s?
Since you mention sysout and console (usually z/OS terms), please confirm that that the platform is z/OS.
How exactly are you executing the ftecreatetransfer command?

In this case the platform is windows and the O/S is windows XP
