I have checked the other posts on this, but one point isn't clear to me.

If I only create 1 connection via a qcf, will connections automatically be created to deal with a bunch of requests simultaneously?

Or do I need to explicitly create, say 10 connections up front, to have these pooled and managed?

Also what would happen to stale connections, for example, if the queue manager is restarted whilst I still have an open connection to it? Does it get thrown out and replaced, or does it just sit there and cause an error everytime it is selected by the pooling algorithm?

Lastly, if it does just sit there, how can I root it out and kill it?

Thanks for any help

Dave.
