Hi ;
I'm programming on a Websphere Message Broker version installed on the IBM ZOS. The CICSREQUEST node generally needs a CICS server name consisting of the protocol name, Host name and the port number (i.e. tcp://127.0.0.1:1300 ) or a Configurable service name which needs also a CICS server name , client Applid and client Qualifier name. But when using this node in a BROKER under the ZOS, i think it has not to need the IP address and the port number for the active CICS server to call the desired program using IPIC protocol to make a DPL, Since These would be necessary for external communicatios. But i must determin the IP address and the port number defined and activated using a TCPIPSERVICE resource with the shadow transaction name of CISS and the urm of DFHSAIP.
Does any one have any idea about this?

What version of WMB? If WMB 7 or WMB 8, what does mqsireportbroker say is the "effective level"?

The WMB version is 7 and the effective level is 7.0.0.1.

You may like to update your tooling to at least 7.0.0.4.

7.0.0.1 has many shortfalls corrected in later fixpacks. Many of the 7.0.0.1 shortfalls have to do with SOAP and HTTP.
