Could anyone provide some insights on restricting remote queue manager connecting through a particular channel to access only certain local queues? Would setmqaut do the job? Should I look to do it with channel security exits?

If you use context security - ie. a message that arrived from a remote manager is placed on a local queue with the authorization of user specified in the UserID field of MQMD - you can use setmqaut the setup appropriate authorizations for your queues. _________________ Marcin Grabinski <><
