In one of our dev environments clustering is not working. Its as a result of bad pub/sub hierarchy configuration , looks like we ended up in below toplogy that causes cluster repository queue manager to crash with FDC while trying to identify pub/sub topology
Display output from QM1
Code: |
QMNAME(QM1) TYPE(LOCAL)
STATUS(ACTIVE)
AMQ8723: Display pub/sub status details.
QMNAME(QM1) TYPE(CHILD)
STATUS(ACTIVE)
AMQ8723: Display pub/sub status details.
QMNAME( ) TYPE(PARENT)
STATUS(STARTING) |
My question to the forum is , has anybody in this situation before and any resolution ideas.
I have already tried restart , renabling pub/sub , changing parent etc. Hoping that understanding how we ended up here could help , tried to recreate this problem , so far no luck with it either. |

This is your dev environment. Make a backup of your qmgr (saveqmgr) and delete it. Rebuild from scratch carefully and add to pub/sub topology very carefully... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
