Hi All,

Problem statement :

In the present environment, MC91 is configured with MQv6 to support the functionality of HA.
Now as MQv7 has got the functionality of multi-instance, MC91 is no more supported by IBM with MQv6.
Can you suggest the best possible way to implement the same setup with updated version of MQ like 7.1 or 7.5.

MC91 (the AIX version) was updated to support WMQ 7 (very few changes in fact).

You may not need to use this support pac, because you can achieve equivalent things with the MI support, even if not using MI. Certainly if all you need it for is to relocate the QMGR data/log directories to SAN storage.

Or you can just keep using it when you upgrade to WMQ 7, which is what I did.
