Hi experts...
Our existing Broker is running on a queue manager that it a full repository for a cluster. The MQ infocenter suggests that there is a performance impact on full repository QMs.
I have the opportunity to change this as part of a Broker migration project. Should I move it to become a partial repository (obviously creating a new full repository on another server)? Are we likely to see a large performance increase on the QM in a mainly static cluster?
Best practice says:
Have the FRs be FRs and nothing else. No processing should be done there... The benefit is taking FR traffic off the normal work traffic channels ... _________________ MQ & Broker admin
