I saw a statement on IBM's web site that mqseries 5.2 doesn't currently support windows xp so wmqi 2.1 doesn't support windows xp - this was as of 08/2002.

does anyone know what IBM's plans are for certifying wmqi 2.1 on windows xp and also mqseries 5.2 and 5.3 on windows xp?

Thanks in advance for any info.

MQSeries 5.3.1 was made available under eGA (electronic general availability) and can be retrieved via download if you have access (e.g. through passport advantage or enterprise license to developerworks). It will be coming out on media soon I am sure.

I am not sure about WMQI 2.1, but I have read reports of people who have upgraded a working system to XP say that it works fine (they may have just had control centre and not a full broker working on XP).
