Hi,

I have created a Message set, using a WSDL, and it works all well when i set the parser as MRM.
But i am confused as how the Reset Content Node is able to take the values, Also i am not able to see the link between the Envelope and the actual actual payload.
I am trying to figure out how the parsing happens.

Thanks

DO NOT USE MRM FOR XML BASED CONTENT.

The XMLNSC parser and the SOAP parser will use the root tag of the document to determine which schema to use.

For versions before v8, you do need to import the wsdl into a message set, and create a message definition from the schemas within it. But that doesn't in any way mean you need to use MRM. It means you need to create a message definition and deploy it and then you must use XMLNSC for all XML content.

That sounds like the wrong decision. You should be using XMLNSC for any type of XML message.

Why do you need an RCD node? We are not mind-readers!

What 'link' do you mean? Can you please explain what you are trying to do, so that we have a chance of understanding your question.

I suspect that the WSDL is just that. The Definition of the WebService and not the full message structure as would normally be defined in an XSD

The two can be separate files/documents.

Actually, you get two separate items when you use the broker tooklit to create a WSDL from the xsd/msxd.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
