Folks,
In an effort to get more involved in the "OpenSource" movement, I have posted the JMSOutput (and now the first pass at JMSInput) to the SourceForge repositories for open source.

Please bear with me as I am new to the SorceForge environment. All suggestions for my management of an OpenSource project welcome. If there are others interested in working with me on this project, of which I will remain the leader , don't hesitate to post here or contact me through kolban@kolban.com.

This is just a suggestion. Why don't you want to use the SourceForge forums? Otherwise, contributors have to come here to request features, report bugs, etc. It's all part of SourceForge, so might as well take advantage. It should be enough that you've posted that the JMS Node(s) are at SourceForce so everyone knows where to go.

In case anyone is wondering why I'm saying this it's because I was asked by Neil to post these things here.

As an add-on to my following question, where should we send modifications/additions to your code? We could use the Document Manager feature from SourceForge, until you define the process.

Neil,

Don't know where you've been, but Boris has made a lot of changes and additions to the JMS Output node. Since we haven't heard from you, he's going to post them through the document manager on SourceForge. Please look this over and let us know what you think. Any way we can be added as developers? Source Forge will allow you, as the "leader" to accept or reject our changes.

Folks,
This is my first pass at using SourceForge as a repository and I am still coming up to speed with what it all means. I have no objection with using the forums capabilities of SourceForge but unless it auto notifies me when postings have been made, I may be challenged to remember to examine that repository as well as all the others.

As for adding other folks as developers, I understand that will allow them to check-in changes. At this point I am resistant to that simply because I have no experience in such. Since the code for these nodes is trivially small, there doesn't appear to be a need for rampant change and me eyeballying the changes will be simple enough.

The demand for this function beyond yourselves seems non-existant, I have had no interest at all from other potential users of such. I fully expect future interest, but at present, there seems to be little purpose to OpenSource development and maintenance of function that, currently, only you have interest in.
