I am trying to check MQ logs in mainframes for an application where mesgs processd in a timely manner

please help me where can i check logs in Mainframes

WMQ logs don't contain any information on message processing on any platform, let alone mainframe.

There are no "logs" in the sense of the distributed platform's logs, just the queue manager task's joblog. Unless you mean the transaction logs which you shouldn't be touching on any platform.

What you need is to look into the queue manager's monitoring facilities.

Location: US: west coast, almost. Otherwise, enroute.

z/OS (MVS) has a console log (SYSLOG) where WMQ sends important informational messages about queue manager operation.

All of which and more should be in the joblog. There it would be visible, where console access is often restricted.
