The project (PM53983) was closed out on 04-27-12 so its just a matter of paperwork now.

I am eagerly waiting for it.

Should have some fixes that I have applied as interims (one or two were due to my PMRs), and I will be interested to see what else was fixed, because we have a big project with WMB 7 going live soon.

Still waiting - perhaps I can get it from the IBM support center?

You won't be able to get it until it's released.

There isn't a published release date.

lancelotlinc may or may not be correct in his assumption about the status of the build based on an internal project repository number.

You might be able to get support to give you an estimated release date. But if it's not built, it's not built and you won't be able to get it.

It's planned date was March 2012 and now shows as April 2012.

Yes, so that's an estimated date.

Don't discount the amount of time it takes to create and file the paperwork.

I'm slightly disappointed that three out of five interim fixes (that I have applied to WMB 7003) didn't make the 7004 fixpack. One of which was definitely "targetted" for 7004.

These WMB fixpacks don't come out very often, so it's a long wait between them.

Will those 3 that didn't make it into 7004 get their 7003 Hot Fix overlaid with 7004 base code, that reverts the bug for you? Worth checking with a PMR before you apply 7004.

Or if you install Fix Packs for WMB in new locations, then you will probably eed to ask for 7004 Hot Fixes for those 3 issues.

I've already asked for new interim fixes - it's just a pain applying them to each system. Especially for all the developers with their own broker.

If the new base code included them, then surely the relevant APAR would be in the list of the ones fixed?

Well, if it mistakenly didn't make the list, even if it did make the cut, then your prompting for interim fixes via PMR should help correct the list...
