Greetings everyone, we have now announced dates and locations for the WMQ for z/OS wildfire workshops.
Workshop abstract:
This workshop provides hands on exercises with WebSphere's premier connectivity products for z/OS, WebSphere MQ V7.1 and WMQ FTE V7. This session is to assist with implementation and administration of the products on z/OS assist in planning implementation or migration, including the Queue Sharing Group features introduced with WMQ V7.1 . Hands-on experience is provided with applications using new features of WMQ, for example how a COBOL application can publish and subscribe. For WMQ FTE you will get experience transferring files, using both MQExplorer based tools and commands.
The workshops are FREE. Your IBM representative must enroll you. If you don't know who your IBM rep is, you can find out who it is through the General Inquiries contact at www.ibm.com/planetwide
The sessions are planned (which are subject to cancellation and change) are for the following dates and locations.
San Francisco, CA Jan 10-12 2012
New York, NY Jan 24-26, 2012
Dublin, OH Jan 31-Feb 2, 2012
Dallas, TX Feb 7-9
Chicago, IL Feb 21-23, 2012
Atlanta, GA May 15-17, 2012
We (the IBM MQ ATS team) may be adding locations as sessions are requested.

Greetings all,
We have new locations and dates to announce. Your friendly neighborhood IBM rep has to enroll you in a WildFire. If you are not sure who that is, please follow the directions in the original post.
June 19-21 - Minneapolis, MN
June 26-28 - Costa Mesa, CA
July 10-12 - Cleveland, OH
July 17-19 - Atlanta, GA (change from May due to location change)
July 31-Aug 2 - Baton Rouge, LA
These sessions are subject to change and cancellation, and all the other legal warning required. Your mileage will vary. Owner is responsible for anyone stealing from their car.
